I had a 20 yr old Taylor in and out wired thermometer that finally bit the dustThis one keeps accurate readings as well as the time.

This thermometer is great. The display is big and it's easy to read. The only downfall is the batter died within a week of us having it and then it kept switching from Fahrenheit to Celsius and we would have to switch it back. We just put a new battery in it so hopefully it holds up better than the stock battery.

My Taylor Wired Digital Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer sits on my nightstand next to my bed with the probe wire running under the closed window sash out in the window frame slide trough. It works great, is easy to read, and gives both indoor and out door temperatures along with past highs and lows. You vary/arrange the readings to your desire. I can roll over in bed, look at it, and immediately know how hot or cold it is and know how to dress.

If you don't trust signals this is the one it's hardwired with a little probe sticking out your window. Readings are true.

Seems accurate. Update of display slower than I anticipated for a wired remote senor. Update is about 3 times per minute. I can understand that for a wireless which takes battery power to transmit the info but why so slow for a wired unit?

Not very exciting, but it works. Although interesting to note with the outdoor sensor located Alongside the main unit, the temperature and humidity read different!

Pleased with the item except the display was too dim in my great room to see without turning on the backlight. I returned it but it worked fine.

Seems accurate, looks nice, provides lots of information. Screen lighting is great for dark locations but to save battery power it turns off quickly. It comes with one outdoor sensor but you can add two more if you want to monitor the temperature in three places plus indoors. For example, you could have one in the basement, one in the garage, and one in the attic. This is a really neat feature that is not really promoted in the description.
