This is likely the best alternative to the Logitech Trackman. In some ways I like this design better (the width is nice) in other ways not as much as the depth of support isn't quite as deep/thus less wrist support.I've used dozens of trackballs/mice over the years and what manufacturers like Logitech are missing is that mid mounted trackballs are far more natural than thumb and far better than grasping and moving a 'box' across your desktop as with traditional mice.

I use a lot of this manufacturer's great product this tractor mouse is also a great product.This plug play mouse is very comfortable easy to use. I use it 8hrs/day at work and my hand is comfortable with easy mouse controls. (using it with Windows 10)I would definitely buy it again!

So hard to find these marvelous devices, especially at this price. I'm so used to using this kind of Track-Ball layout, the newer versions just wouldn't feel right. With this I can retouch photo's and draw fast as lightening, as well as zoom all around the screen to click on things. I had to buy 3, just to insure as I wear them out I'll have backups! 5 STARS.

This is a replacement for my previous exact trackball. The ball is a bit light, but it works well. I have had my last one for 4 years; it is good and reliable. The old one works fine; the USB connector is just a bit loose; I travel a lot and it gets removed often. I tested many others over the years, this one made sense to me and it is pain-free. I'm 60 with a bit of wrist pain. I'm still looking for the perfect trackball, but I haven't found it yet. This one is 4.6 stars.

I recommend the Orbit without scroll!The low set cavity for the trackball combined with the wide palm base provides an ergonomic, natural position for my hand. The Sensitivity is high and the ball feels frictionless and is easy to move. Slight minimal movements of the ball can cross my entire screen easily, so I don't need to exert a lot of force on my index finger to move it. Some trackballs require more force and have caused tension and pain in my finger and wrist tendons.Lastly, I actually prefer having no scroll option. Scrolling adds unnecessary finger movements and can cause RSI. Not having a scroll option force me to use my keyboard shortcuts which are much more ergonomics and out less strain on the fingers and wrist. Keyboard keys like the arrow keys, page up and down, and space bar. I recommend the Kinesis Advantage keyboard for easy access to those keys with your thumbs.Overall this is my favorite trackball replacement of the discontinued Logitech trackman.The Orbit without scroll wheel is better than the scroll version because the scroll version has a higher set cavity and my finger has to extend up rather than stay in a neutral flat position. It also has a narrower palm base and my hand index finger doesn't feel natural or comfortable on it for too long,
