Purchased this safe for traveling back and forth (snowbirds) and to keep important documents safe in the house. Extremely well made - very heavy

This looks to be a very durable safe. Be warned that it is heavy. I used construction adhesive to glue appliance (refrigerator) wheels to the bottom of it. The final assembly rolls under the bed on the hard floor nicely.The key is also small and has a thick plastic head making it hard to put on a key ring. I would suggest a thinner stronger all metal key with a bigger ring hole to the manufacture. They could also add a loop to the back for a chain.Durability unknown.

When looking at cheaper safes be careful about the various times. Nearly identical safes only had a 1/2 hour rating for being fireproof. Unless you live next door to your local fire department play it safe and go for the 1 hour rating.

This box is a great place to keep my important documents. It was heavier than I expected. Just be aware that the insulation means it might have less internal space that you anticipated as a result.
