It seems to work but that's the problem. Seems. There is no way to tell if it is working or not. Apparently you can't see ultra violet light and there is no indicator light that tells you that it is on. You just have to trust that the thing works.

I am veery happy with this uv light pond water is clear and green water gone took about ten days like it said. I have looed around for a light and this price was in my field. Seller responce as great.
