The play rug is a true comfortable little carpet that came sealed in plastic and nicely rolled. A consistent latex back makes it slip-proof on floors and wall-to-wall carpeting. It was ready for play in minutes with NO CREASES or lifting corners or missing coloration and no smell at all of chemicals. Unlike similar play mats, this one has vibrant colors and clear images with all buildings acclimated in the same direction--not a big deal for kids but sure does help grownups! Mine measures 31 X 58 and allows play by two kids easily. All the good stuff--police and fire buildings, a school, a hospital, a gas station, rotaries, and some other generic stuff for those little imaginations. Glad I picked this one.

My daughter was so excited when she opened the car mat carpet for Christmas! She immediately asked for her hot wheels cars so she could play “driver” around the entire thing. We quickly found out that she was not only using the mat as a car track but she also lined up while cities with a lot of her other toys creating sections and worlds all in the one mat! The edges did fray a bit when vacuumed the first time but I cut the piece off that frayed and we were good to go. I know she will get a lot of playtime in our living room with this playmat.
