I was having issues with my chlorinator frequently showing low flow therefore not producing chlorine. I thought I would give this product a shot. It took a few minutes to install and my chlorinator has been running for a couple months without issue.

My Pentair Salt Cell was red on the Flow meter indicator. I wasn't sure if this was going to fix my issue. This was a much cheaper route to go then replacing the whole unit. Install was quick. My cell lights were all green and running. Just not sure how long this switch will last. Finger crossed...

Two months in and it's working great! Saved me an expensive service call and a more expensive chlorinator replacement!Pretty easy to install with some basic (and I mean basic) electrical and plumbing skills. Some folks in the comments complained that the wire connector things were prone to breaking; I bought a separate package of those just-in-case but the included ones worked fine for me. Install was pretty smooth and so far it's functioned perfectly.

Pool store said it would be $125 to diagnose or $1200 to replace cell. Figured I would try to swap flow switch out first and that worked. Easy to do and saved me some money.

The product is great. It fixed my broken temperature sensor and it's working again. No more low salt warnings and the temperature is showing accurately again.The only issue I had is with those little connectors. They did not work for me. I soldered the connections.

After opening the pool this spring my IC40 was showing a low salt indication even though I tested my salt level and it was at 3600PPM. The unit is only two years old and only used during the summer months (Northeast US) The flow light was green so that was not an issue. After doing a lot of reading I decided to change the flow switch even though in the description it says the switch does not measure salt levels. It also was the cheapest alternative. The install was easy. I soldered my wires instead of using the cheap connectors that are supplied. After turning the pool pump on the salt level lights flashed as expected and within a minute the salt level indicated good and the cell light was green also. I have no idea what the correlation is between the temperature and salt levels but this switch worked. Everything works fine now.
