Had the 6 magic heat since 1991 with well tended hot fires in a small closed type freestanding unit with only fantastic things to say. I'd like to mention I have triple walled (fiber filled) SS tube in 2 sections leaving to the roof for safety. If you never burn softer woods or wet woods and ALWAYS burn hot without the smog = well placed small split logs and lots of air...I've never had a sweep and burned well over 10 cords. Just had the roof replaced (they removed the tubes to lay roof) and the roofer asked why I don't use the fireplace much! The SS tubing was so clean inside, I was blown away, and I'm serious as a heart attack. Zero buildup inside!

Fan is on a switch that never shuts off so if fire goes out and Im away it continues to run until its manually shut of need a heat sensor to shut it down when its cold it does produce a ton of heat that is normally lost up the chimney that I like a lot was easily put up in just a few minutes overall I would definitely do again I think Im gona get a temp switch and add it to fan

Product was delivered and the box had a slight crease in it, but was not broken. When the product was removed from the box the side had a big dent in it even thought it was sufficiently surrounded by packaging. it was installed as is - because it was at the beginning of the artic blast that hit NE Ohio. It was easy to install taking less than 2 hrs., and it has made a big difference in the overall warmth of the house. It just looks awful on the one side.
