OKay so they SAY the dog should be able to STAND in their crate.... well I am not sure how many wolves or foxes dig stand height dens to be honest! My standard is about 17 now and she goes in here and snuggles down for the night, enjoying her den by going to the back part. If your puppy is REALLY young, a regular crate would be good until 4 months I would say. Ours was 4 months when we put her in here. She has LOTS of room to move around and FULLY stretch out and has NEVER had an accident. We are looking forward to the day we can let her have full roam of the house at a year! Until then, she is safe and secure at night and for the few hours here and there during the week that I cannot keep an eye on her. Preventing BAD habits is easier than undoing them and that is what a crate is for. I bought a long cushy pad and she has her finding Nemo blanket in there with a chew toy and her lamb chop and never fusses!

I love the sliding door. That's was the big selling point for me. Dog chews the wood on the sliding door tho. I'm still working on that with no chew sprays. Not sellers fault. It's a bit week in spots. Put nothing remotely heavy on top of it tho. It makes the door get stuck or wobbly. Pieces fell off but I used wood glue n tiny nails to keep them on. So far, so good. All n all, I'm happy with my purchase. I'd definitely recommend.

It was easy to put together. I loved the look. It seemed very sturdy. I had to send it back because it just wasn't big enough for my dog. It was my fault, I forgot to look at how tall it was. It's shorter than the regular metal large crate. The crate itself if very nice though. The hardest part was getting it back in the box to return it, lol! Plus, be aware that if you do need to return it, they do not offer free returns.

It was easy to assemble. Perfect height for a side table. I purchased two one for each beagle. They fit with plenty of room to move around inside. Love the door which slides inside when open. Would definitely recommend if you want a nice side table, and to reduce the extra space kennels take up.

I am so happy with this crate, my 3 little ones room together and their wire crate was in my office. I wanted to upgrade to a wooden crate that was more of a piece of furniture. THIS IS IT!!!!! This crate is very well made, the instructions are PERFECT, everything is well labeled and it all lines up and goes together seamlessly. The dogs approve too. THANK you for putting a quality product out there!!!!!! Now to find a XXL one for my chocolate lab!

If your dog is not used too a small space do not buy this product. Besides that it's amazing. Great invention but my dog has yet to love it.

We love it! It looks great and is sturdy. It's big enough for our basset hound, but not our Australian Shepard. The instructions were difficult to read but I found a video online that helped me assemble it. It is also suggested to use wood glue, I wasn't expecting that, but luckily had it on hand.

This is actually a beautiful piece of furniture! I bought it because anything is more attractive than a regular dog crate but I did not expect it to be so solid and beautifully crafted. The pocket door is also an awesome feature so it can be left open when it's not in use. Works great both as a sofa side table and a generous sized dog crate for our 20lb Jack Russell. It was difficult to find a mattress or bed that fit well, however. You need something that's about 12x24.
