These are great in theory. My Blue Death Feigning Beetles didn’t care for them. Otherwise, they would work well for other beetles.

I have three blue death-feigning beetles and give these to them. Because I've only got the three, it would take a month for them to get through each cup. So I scoop a small piece out of the cup and put it in a miniature dish for them. The remainder, I leave in the original cup, put that in a small zip lock, and store it in the fridge. For the piece in their tank, I add a small amount of water every other day to keep it from drying out. After several days, I swap it (once it dries to unrecoverable fruit-leather status). Will not mold, but will dry out in a desert beetle enclosure and glue itself to anything it touches. If this happens, just add water and it will soften it enough to remove it.

We buy these for our blue death feigning beetles. They work out great to have food/hydration reliably in the cage. We use crickets and fruit/vegetables as well but the jelly is the easiest food to maintain.

My beetles love these. I do make fresh fruit cups for them also but if you're in a time crunch they'll eat these all day long.
