Small but good. Release a lot of tannins that's good if you want them if not boil or leave in water over night. I used the tannins in my 5g tank then after a few days I used them as hard scape in my 1 and a half aquarium where they look gr8

It's a nice quality decoration, fish love it, it's funny to see them swimming around it and through it. It is holding up nicely so far at the 3-month period. Would recommend

I bought this for my smaller sized Betta tanks. It is the perfect size for smaller tanks. I did have to soak and boil so it would stop floating. Overall I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.

I was looking for a piece of Mopani wood that would be the right size for my Betta's 3 gallon tank. Everything locally was too big. This was just right. It is helping to keep the pH in the water at the right level, which is why I wanted it.

My Bettas absolutely love the wood in their tanks. I have a sorority of Bettas, so I bought a couple of the mopani wood. Also the wood doesn't make the water brown, easy to submersible without the wood floating to the top.

Photo shows a piece of wood that fills the bag, mine did not. It does not have any sharp edges, however, and releases “good stuff” (tannins) into the water. I boiled mine for 15 minutes and it still changed water color.

You'd think this would at least be a reasonably sized piece of wood, something any kind of small fish could swim around or under..but no. Its barely 2.5-3 inches long, maybe. Just a little chunk of wood overpriced and useless. I could've gone to a local fish store and paid $16 for a 8-10 inch piece of mopani wood but I had hoped this one, sold for $7, would've at least been more than a 3x1.5 inch chunk of wood. So now I use it to prop up the large piece of mopani wood I went out and secondarily bought afterwards.

The piece I received was teeny tiny. I was expecting it to be slightly larger. But I put it in my nano tank after soaking in hot water overnight, and have had no issues.
