These are the best shears I've found for trimming and shaping ornamental topiaries. Unlike some others I've tried, these stay sharp much longer and the blades are nice and tight for a clean cut. The handles are comfortable and the spring action is consistent, with just enough "bounce back" to them. I'm very happy to have found these

Finally, a pair of sheers that honestly made a huge difference in shaping our 3 topiaries. You still have to spend the time to do it, but it makes it easier and looks a lot better than the rose pruners that I had tried to use before and took forever.

Arrived nice and sharp. They kept their sharpness even after shearing ten sheep. Easy to use, blades don't cross like some I've used. Great value for the price, honestly.

Sharp! I got these to cut my St bernard mixs hair. She doesnt like electric ones. These are nice on my hands and easy to use. Sharp. Keep up from kids.

Good set for just starting out or small flock. You get what you pay for. These work fine though and hold an edge well.

Nice for fine work, but I wouldn't want to do much volume with these. Very sharp, and hold their edge.

...one Angora goat and they were catching halfway through the shearing. Perhaps I didnt hold them just right but by the time I got to his midsection, the blades would catch the hair and pull it, rather than give a clean cut. Need to be sharpened every 1/2 goat! He is NOT very big, poor thing.

I liked the shape and the handle but did not find the blades to be very sharp. I had trouble clipping anything. Very disappointed as the reviews seemed pretty good.
