I was skeptical of all these electric pruners from China that I have never heard of, but arthritis in my hands pushed me to dig deep and figure out which one of these would be OK for my fairly heavy backyard use. I chose the Zenport brand because while this item is, in fact, made in China, the company that sells and services it is in Oregon, and they have a good reputation for Customer Service. Zenport serves the agricultural industry.... vineyards and blueberries, etc.This thing is a game changer. It cuts through about anything up to 3/4 inch, and its hugely fun to use. This is not a toy. Keep that other hand away, and forget about having a beer while you are doing yardwork. This is a serious tool, and I can see how it could take a finger off as easily as a branch.It's well balanced, easy to hold, comes with a nice case and two batteries, and oil, grease and a sharpening stone to keep it going.By me using this for yard work, it will easily pay for itself over the next year, if not 6 months. I'll get back to you if I have any issues, but so far, 3 50 gallon cans of cuttings later, no problems or complaints.
