This is made of good quality and fits well with an existing outside light that had a light sensor that did not work. After I installed and saw how it worked flawlessly, I purchased a few more afterwards to install on existing outdoor lights that currently do not have sensors to save electricity.

It works perfectly on my led fixture. Easy to install. Would be better with 2 mounting nuts instead of just 1. I used it to replace a non functioning one bought here.

This unit is exactly like the other one that came in the light - and that one got too sensitive - it would buzz, turning the light off and on at twilight and dawn. So I bought these - I installed one of them in the light and it worked perfectly - for three days - and now the light stays on all the time. I'm going to install the second one and see how that does. Hopefully it will last longer than 3 days before it fails.

Bought these to revamp an outside coach light that I wanted to convert to LED. That was a couple of years ago and they are still working day in and day out. Just make sure the form factor will fit your needs as they are usually mounted inside a fixture.

Huge difference. My outdoor porch light was flickering like a strobe light. After checking the wiring, which was fine, I ordered this. I replaced the sensor with one of these and it now works like new!

Purchased to use with lighted house numbers I recently installed on our home. Photocell is spot on-turns on the lights at dusk and off at dawn. Profile is small-great when you want to disguise the photocell. Very happy with this purchase. Highly recommend.

I'm an electrician. I'm 90 sure I know how this is wired. But guessing at color codes and wire uses is not a good thing. And for someone who has little electrical knowledge? NO No.

My old photocells were dying a slow death, so they were intermittently keeping my post light on. Swapping these out was easy (once I got the light fixture open) and immediately addressed the intermittency problem - hopefully these last for a long time from here.
