I looked very hard to find the original style and rating but couldn't. This photocell seemed to be used on lamps from all brands. The specs on it exceed the ones on the original photocell so I bought it and installed it, and it Is working well so we will see how long it lasts. Very easy job.

The shaft is smaller than it should be, also the wires are short to work with.

Easy repair for Altair outdoor lantern purchased from Costco. Bypassed original photocell and light came on, confirming that was the culprit. Simple to replace.

The dimensions stated are wrong! Shows as being 1.6 inches wide. NOT TRUE. Switch is 1.6 inches add the wire insulator and curve of wires the total is 1.95 inches. Careful if you have little room to install

Fits perfectly into my Aluminum Lamp Post. The first one I bought worked fine but didn't fit properly. This one does. Not all photocells are alike. Be sure to measure your clearance (and thickness).

They worked flawlessly for 12 years . Outside in the elements . Replaced them last week with the same model .

This fit and worked perfectly as a replacement in our outdoor wall sconces. I don't know why the original dawn to dusk sensors like to fail, but it's nice to have an option that's much cheaper than the replacement part at Home Depot. Note that we use these with LED bulbs, so I can verify that the sensor works with at least some LEDs.

This photocell fits in tighter spaces than the standard square ones available at the hardware store. Worked well for splicing into a light fixture instead of the post due to the curved edges. The rubber washers are thick and seal well.

You see how the shoulders slope on this particular unit? That allows installation in tight spaces. It gives you a bit more room when you want to mount your pole light and need to make sure the connections are safe inside the pole.
