I have a pretty big noggin so finding hats can be tough. This fits really well! It's low on my head with a good size brim and just looks well fitting. It's also not completely dumpy like some hats are. The chin strap is well done too. Hoping to get some miles out of this!

I received what i wanted,, a good durable cover that i was able to use outdoors for yard work and fishing,, it covered and protected me from the sun and i stayed cool.

I've wanted to snag a tiger stripe boonie hat for years and years, just never came across one when I had the extra funds in-hand. I wear a bandana under every hat I put on, or else the wind rips them off - just something about the shape of my head, I guess. This one fits just fine, even if it is a bit bigger than I reckoned it would be; that's okay, has some room to shrink - although the tag says to handwash only. Part of the criteria is for preserving the waterproofing. The add says it's 100 ripstop cotton but the tag says 60/40 cotton/polyester; so it's a bit of false advertising, [this is why I dinged it for a star] but I suspected it was - that's another one of the reasons I always wear a bandana under my hats, my skin won't tolerate synthetic materials.

It is not like the bonnie but pretty close. The brim of the hat is 1 cm bigger than the military bonnie. The hat band is what i guess you can call it that has more spacing than the military bonnie. all that said not a bad hat for 5 bucks
