An XTC foam baffle protects easily corroded plated parts and vulnerable voice coil gaps. Creation of a separate chamber for the speaker's rear radiation also tightens bass response, reduces distortion, and minimizes the intrusion of road noise though the speaker's cone. The baffle's flexible, long lasting non-degrading composition does not absorb water.
The XTC foam baffle construction also creates an airtight seal for the speaker but also decouples it to prevent annoying speaker-to-panel resonances. Useful in car doors, rear decks, and other interior panels, as well as sub-enclosures for midrange drivers used in large home or PA speaker systems. Sold in pairs.

I was replacing the factory speakers on my motorcycle and had found during some research that putting these behind the speakers made them sound a lot better. I purchased these to try it. The speakers sound amazing in their own right but adding these behind them made it that much better. I would recommend these for anyone changing speakers on their motorcycle.
