Classily design in a rich walnut finish that would mesh well with just about any décor in your home. The top cabinet door opens down creating a perfect table top, making this a great writing surface. Store your calculator, note pads, writing utensils, and other smaller accessories on the two inner shelves. The makeshift desk will stand up at 29.27"H. Grab your laptop and pull up a stool (sold separately). Once all done, fold the desk, back up into the slanted position to hide away supplies. Right under is a drawer, great for storing your tablet and easier to get to accessories. Ideal unit for a studio apartment or for those trying to keep the desk area compact. This desk has storage space from top to bottom. The compartment at the bottom opens up to a removable shelf. Keep paper and more desk/ office supplies put away behind a closed door and out of sight. Constructed of sturdy solid and composite wood. This table is packed and shipped in 1 box, along with the hardware necessary for assembling the table. I was interested in something to fit a small space in my dining room to place my telephone, wifi router, and modem on. I looked in furniture stores, second hand stores, and antique stores. I found furniture that would work, but they were either to ugly, to poor quality, or very expensive. Ordered the Winsome Wood Secretary Desk without being sure if it would work for me. Ordered it and two days later put it together. I was delighted with the desk. Small footprint, good looking, and reasonabled priced. This desk is very solid. The finish is better than your will find in most furniture stores. Assembly was easy; directions could be better, but I was happy that partial disassemble to correct my mistakes did not damage the desk.

Very well made, solid construction, nice finish. Easy to assemble - took about a half hour. (The box is a little heavy - open up at front door and bring in pieces several at a time.) I would definitely buy more from this manufacturer.

These tables are very sturdy and good looking; not cheap at all. The sizes are perfect for many things and can be very useful in a home or apartment. These are nice to bring out when people need something to put a coffee cup or plate on now that we are no longer using a cocktail table. Very pleased!

I looked at quite a few pieces of furniture before settling on this one. It is made out of real wood not particle board. It was very easy to assemble and we didn't have any leftover pieces!

Bought this desk because of the size. It fits perfectly in the spot that I needed it in. It is all wood and I love that. Easy to put together. Wish the directions were in words in addition to the pictures. Nevertheless, it was not difficult to understand. All the parts for assembly were present except for the dowels needed to keep the drawer from coming all the way out. This little desk fits everything I need. Laptop, books, files and a lamp.
