This was a gift. Seems pretty sturdy. Base could be wider, but it was a gift and my dad seems to like it.

I saw this & i thought this would be the perfect gift for my boyfriend - he is in the military & he often comes home & he hangs his uniform up on a hanger & then hangs the hanger on the doorknob of the closet! HE loves to be organized & neat (i know hes a keeper) so i thought this would be perfect for him. I assembled it & put it in our bedroom while he was running errands at the store and when he got back i escorted him to see his v-day gift (a day early). It was ver easy to put together the drawer & top portion is pretty much already put together. The only thing i found hard to do was to get the wheels into the bottom of the base because we didnt have a rubber mallet to tap it into place but if u choose to not add the wheels the stand will stand upright just fine! The only other issue that concerned me was that he mirror just sits into a peg there nothing to really secure it to make sure it doesnt fall out (we are thinking of how we can secure it probably a small piece of cardboard or some wood glue) But other than that its an awesome buy for the money & it looks fab (no nicks chips or anything) and its much taller than i expected almost 5ft tall!

The valet stand was exactly what I was expecting. The hanger for your slacks may have a tendency to pull itself out of the stand depending on how careful you are taking them off the hanger, so I used some liquid nails inside the holes and pressed the hanger in until it was cured. Never had it come loose since.

This was a Xmas present for my husband. It did not take me more than 15 minutes to put it together. Nevertheless there was a small crack on the board and the paint was chipped on one of the lateral wooden rails. It was well packaged, so I assume it was originally shipped like that. My husband liked it in spite of these defects, so we decided to keep it. It is sturdy and looks very nice.

Made of great materials. Really nice wood. Not hard to assemble but it does take some force to get the hex screws in (use a screwdriver with a hex head and not the small tool provided).Regarding the SLIDING OUT DRAWER:After reading all the reviews of the drawer sliding out completely, I decided to add a stopper to it while assembling the valet. Here's my solution which I think is very simple, but feel free to improvise and use different methods:1) I cut a small piece of very hard cardboard (you can use wood) measuring about 3" long by about 0.5" W and 0.5" H. Basically a long rectangle about the size of your small finger. This will act as the drawer stopper.2) Remove the drawer.3) Measure where to place the stopper on the bottom side of the table, so it will stop the back board of the drawer before sliding out. This should be aligned about 0.25"-0.5" below the edge of the two wooden rails which hold the drawer in place.4) Use a very small screw (so not to breach the top of the table) and screw in the stopper onto the bottom of the table (you can also use carpenter's glue but I wanted to use a screw to make sure it will never fall out). Make sure the stopper is held securely in place.4) Now, you must remove ONE OF THE TWO RAILS in order to insert the drawer in place. Use a screwdriver to release the two screws which hold the chosen rail in place.5) After removing the rail, insert the drawer in place and see that the stopper functions properly.6) Now re-insert the rail which you previously removed and properly screw in the screws into their existing holes.7) Drawer does not slide out!Good luck.

This is a great product for the price. It was easy to assemble, and works well. It is not heavy in the bottom so you have to be careful as it will tilt over if you fill the top drawer with too much stuff. It is very functional and can be moved around. My husband loves it!

Nice stand, have had it for weeks and it does what I needed. The only downside is the omission of a drawer stop, this little draw falls right out if you pull it too far (easy to do because it is little).

I'm pleased with this. Sturdy enough to serve its purpose. Only took about 20 minutes to assemble.I chose this one because it had a coin basin carved into the shelf, making it easy to palm the coins out retreive, rather than trying to slide them off the shelf and having them fall to the floor.Don't wear ties anymore, but those two side tie holers work well for hanging a key ring on, or a belt loop for a pair of pants so they don't turn upside down and dump out the contents of the pockets.

I've been wanting a valet for a while and this was in the right price range and it looked decent enough so I went ahead and bought it. It's very easy to install and it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. I opted to not use the wheels and on my wood floors it stands still, no wobbles, no problems. Now that I have a place to put my wallet and keys, I don't spend 5 minutes searching my house for them in the morning. The only downside is the drawer, which doesn't have a lock to prevent it from sliding out completely. It's not very long so whenever I open it, which isn't often now, I end up pulling it completely out. It doesn't damage anything but it would be good to have a small stop bar on the underside of the table to keep it from sliding out completely. Now I just avoid putting things inside the drawer. The other thing to note is that because the shirt holder attaches to the stand from behind, you can't use it for polo shirts. Only button-ups. Not a big issue because polos can rest in a hanger on either side of the valet.I use this every day, and even with the drawer problem, I'm very satisfied with it.

This is a decent (not great) product in my opinion. Assembly took about 15-20 minutes tops. The quality of the material and craftsmanship of the overall product once assemble was worth the price. I have no regrets in buying it.
