So my 1/1 apt off the beach had a small dining area into the living room. I'm 26 and don't sit down for dinner - so I wanted it to be a bar atmosphere. I purchased an over-price bar from El Dorado and needed a bar table and chairs. I bought the package with the 2 chairs and the table and they were simple to put together and look great. The only thing is the top of the bar table is like a weird material. Not glass or plastic or wood or MDF... Almost like a black chalk board but not. It seems to be designed this way as an anti-slip technology but it is different. Good height for a bar table and good price with the chairs.

The stools were very easy to assemble, the air lift works great. One of the plastic handles broke off a week after I bought them but it did'nt affect the air lift. You can replace the handles with something else. I love the look of my stools. They are very sleek and modern. They don't get a lot of wear and tear because I do'nt use them daily. So they will definitely hold up for quite some time.

They are sturdy, easy to put together (it took me about 5 mins to put both of them together) and they look good. I did not give them 5 stars because I just don't feel that they deserve it

Perfect pair of bar stools for my kitchen with stainless at bottom. Wish that the seats were a little more quality, but still overall very nice.

The stools look wonderful in our kitchen. Plus, the price is quite acceptable. They are not for a long-time seating purpose; it's comfortable enough to sit on them for 1 hour or so.The only minus I see is the stool is a bit light-weighted. The stool could move around, especially if you have tiles floor, when you try to take a seat on the stool.

Price is right, easy assemble and it's perfect. Only one thing is, I want 3 of them but they don't have one stool at $35. May be I will buy another 2 and sell it on garage sale.

These stools look like they belong in a nice lounge or a bar. I don't think you can find anything else like this within the same price category.The only drawback of these stools is that once you put them together, you can't take them apart. It is listed in the instructions and I found it to be true. Might be a hassle when moving time comes, but hey meanwhile they look great.

We gotten a lot of compliments on the barstools. They easy to adjust and very confortable. Glad we got them.

Just put these together in about three minutes. Great look to these stools, so I'm sure I'll be happy when the matching table arrives in a few days. I find them to be very stable, and functional - will look great in the space I bought them for. Like others have stated, they are uncomfortable to sit in for a while, but that's not a problem for me. Looking at how the seat attaches to the base, it should be a very simple modification to replace the seat portion of this stool with a much more comfortable padded seat - any unscrewable seat from another chair could easily be attached to this base - or make your own. Problem solved! For those who complain about the table getting scratched up after minimal use - why didn't you coat it with a layer or two of varnish before your initial use? Pleased with the base of these stools immensely - great buy at two for $69 with no tax and free ship!

Overall a very good product for the price.Table top - Solid. Collects and shows fingerprints and food grime very easily. Not sure how the top will look aesthetically in six months. Again a solid chuck of wood that should hold up structurally.Leg to top connection - Snug fit. You attach a connecting cup to the table top. The cup and screws are appropriately sized and when tightened form a solid connection. I was pleasantly surprised by the thickness of the metal and the quality of the screws.Leg - The leg itself it very thick/heavy and has a nice chrome shine to it. The leg may be detached from the top via the connecting piece by simply pulling the two pieces apart.Base - As a whole the base is solid and also has that nice reflective chrome look. The leg slides snugly into the base piece and may be simply pulled to separate. The issue and my only con. Sorry it's a bit wordy. The underside of the base is crimped to allow for a plastic stability ring to pop into place. The crease in my table had a kink that made my table wobble. I attempted to correct the issue by bending the kink out of the crease. The metal is thick and will not bend easily. I succeeded in bending the kink back, for the most part and with effort, however the backside of my pliers dented the chrome base from the underside. The table does not wobble but the base now has an unsightly bump in it that is exacerbated by the reflective chrome finish. I really had to tug and twist the defective crimp out and inadvertently applied a good deal of pressure to the base.Long story short if you get a defective table you may want to send it back for a new one before attempting to fix it yourself. I'm generally pretty handy and was a little disgusted with myself for failing to correct the kink issue without collateral damage. It appeared to be an easy fix. The metal just would not bend easily which is a big plus most of the time.Summary - Overall a very nice table for the price. The individual pieces are solid. Assembly time was negligible. The price was right. Without the defect with the base this table was an easy 5. I would buy this table again but would return it for a non-defective one in the future.

The chairs were very easy to put together. They are easy to clean off and comfortable. I would recommend these.

I think those seats are truly very good, both visually and ergonomically.They deserve to be known from buyers looking for these types of seats.

These are great so far. But I'm concerned if the plastic under these are hardwood safe. Does anyone know?

LOOKS GOOD, WORKS WELL SO FAR & VERY INEXPENSIVE. SO MUCH SO, WE HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO 2 OF OUR FAMILY FRIENDS.

This is a nice pair of stools for the price. They're a little lighter than I thought they'd be, but still sturdy. It only took about ten minutes to have them out of the box and set up against our kitchen island. I recommend them.

These stools are not only a good deal, they're pretty comfortable for perching while snacking at the kitchen bar, even if you're tall. We like the retro-Madmen look and how they sort of scooch down when you sit on them...they have a little give to them. Assembly was not difficult at all thanks to the good directions, though the pneumatic tube that airlifts the seat is a little hard to activate. Just follow the directions and it should be ok.

The stools work well, are attractive and seem sturdy enough for my household. There is nothing to compare for the price. They were very simple to assemble.

With this price, you might not get any better. Pretty easy to fit. As many ppl suggested to remove the black cap, so do it. Overall good and I recomment unless you are looking for one which has the back support.
