This table has long, clean lines and the light oak finish brightens the space it occupies. It can be used as a dining table for two, or as a compact desk in a corner of your bedroom. I purchased this over a year ago, and am increasingly fond of it as time goes by. This is a good quality table at a decent price.

In college, I got this hand-me down oak table, unfortunately, it never came with chairs. Since I was poor and in college, I never got chairs. Once I had a paycheck, however, I decided to get these, and they are quite fantastic.PROS* They are super sturdy (I can stand on them to reach things without worrying about falling to my death). The performed well in the post building "shake test" where I shook them on the ground to make sure they would not fall apart, there was zero wobble or creaky noises.* They look good, and match the table perfectly. They seem like they would match most tables perfectly since the design is pretty classic.* They are pretty comfy for being solid wood chairs.* They were REALLY easy for me to put together by myself with my limited tools.* They are a good weightCONS* I have yet to think of any

I found the quality of the wood in the four chairs that I ordered to be fairly good. There is one chair that has a little "grayish" wood in it, but this adds to the character as one other reviewer noted. Because of all the leg bracing, these chairs have the potential to be very sturdy if assembled correctly. I did not use the included allen wrench but instead used a pivoting, ratcheting screwdriver with an allen bit. This made it easier to access the bolt heads and less likely that I would overtighten the bolts.My only mistake was not noticing that these were "light oak" and not "natural" finish, so they are slightly darker than the Coaster butcher-block table that they are paired with. It's a handsome set all the same, and I would recommend these chairs to others, provided you closely inspect the wood quality before assembling them.

These days, it's hard to find affordable furniture that isn't made of "engineered wood." This table is solid, sturdy, and fits together perfectly. My boyfriend put it together very quickly. I use it in my kitchen; it cleans easily and holds a lot of weight. Amazing quality for a great price!

Table seems nice but was shipped without all the parts to put it together. I have to fax to a long distance number to get replacement parts. Up to 2 weeks to get parts.Update: The parts came in about a week. Everything went together pretty simply. Table nice but -1 star for poor packaging.
