the first order had two chairs with chunks out of them and second set broke with first use during Thanksgiving dinner. See pic. Right in the middle of the wood. Also seem to tip easily so must sit entirely on the seat without leaning forward at all.

I intentionally spelled butt incorrectly because if you have a butt, these aren't for you, they're slender and have a pretty strict weight requirement and I wouldn't risk it as these are solid wood. If you like to eat then these aren't the right seatsfor you!

Better than expected. The material is nice and the chairs are sturdy. Blend in well with other oaks/pine furniture at much higher price tags. I wish I purchased them earlier.

These folding chairs are a perfect solution for occasional dining in a limited space. My teak table is round and resides folded, against a wall; covered by a beautiful piece of silk. Transformed for a little dinner party, it is no longer a slim rectangle but an intimate round, surrounded by these matching chairs. When done, the chairs are folded and stored in a nearby closet, the table is folded down, and the silk resumes its artful purpose.

NOTE: see my pic because the product picture here looks like a stool. These wooden folding chairs are perfect for what we needed -- some easy-to-8store chairs to use outside on the back patio. We bought a table but didn't like the chairs that were meant to go with it. We found these and have been very happy with the purchase. You may need a cushion if you're going to sit on them for a long time, but they look nice, fold easily, and really sturdy. There were a great find. They did not have to be put together either. Definitely recommend.

these are very unsturdy! feels like they will break immediately. i thought at first i might be able to tighten them, but there's a good half inch gap in all of the connectors that needs to be filled with plastic washers or something.... too much of a project to do for this price. And so small! A grown adult will not be comfortable in this tiny, wobbly chair with no back support. these are going back immediately. i'm just going to get a real folding chair like i was going to buy in the first place.

I needed a small table and chairs that looked fairly elegant next to our formal dining table for our big family Easter dinner. These chairs fit the bill perfectly and allowed the smaller children to sit close to the rest of us. Then I just fold them and put them in our coat closet. Perfect for the purpose!

I bought these chairs as a short term solution since furniture we ordered will take months. They look nice and work well for a great price and we can use them later for extra guess. I did buy chair pads to make them more comfortable.

I got these for an overflow crowd on Thanksgiving, and wanted to avoid a metallic look. The are sturdy, attractive, and comfortable enough even for a long meal. They stack compactly for storage when not in use.
