Funny how the price went from 70 to 90 bucks after I bought it. Still worth the price.Very basic diy. sweat the fittings on (you do not need to be a professional plumber to do this at all) and screw in.Super easy, at a great price. Works well so far, time will tell if it lasts. Adjusting it is also easy if you know how to use a screwdriver.

Sweat on the union flange pieces, make sure the o-rings are seated, and tighten. It is ready for service.I use a thin coat of silicon o-ring lube. I put a gauge on the output a short distance away and my gauge said 52 to 56 psi from normal flow to no flow. The difference between this and old pressure reducer was daylight to dark. This one runs quietly and the mere 4 psi swing is imperceptible. Service line pressure here runs between 109 and 119 psi.

Using it as whole house pressure regulator. Haven't noticed any drop in water volume. It would be nice if it had an port to add an outlet pressure gauge.

Came on time . No issues. We measured everything to fit with 0 clearance and it all slipped in almost perfect forgot about including the rubber washer and that made it a little tight to slide together. Very happy with the results soldered both ends..no leaks.make sure there is no water in the pipes or you won't be able to solder it.

I had an Watts N35B [Year 1996] pressure regulator that was CHIRPING, THROBBING so I replaced it with the N45B.The N45 is an 'EXACT' drop in replacement for the the older N35, See pictures.WARNING! The new unit should have O-RINGS on both fittings (ends), mine only had one, so I used an old O-Ring from the old unit.BRASS: being all Brass, things were not stuck and job only took 10 minutes.BRASS: being brass, you don't want to OVER TIGHTEN the soft BRASS nuts.YOU can do it..... if you read everything above... :)

Like others have complained, the O-ring was missing from the box. The product is an exact replacement, delivery was great, BUT, I don't want a leak for reusing the old O-ring.

One solid working water pressure valve. It was a breeze to install right out of the box and I did not need any extra parts. The one I replaced was acting up and after I completely tore it down I found out why. The spring and inner workings had corroded to a point of malfunction.Once installed, I then moved on to replace the water expansion tank. When the water was turned back on, I adjusted the water pressure valve to 60 psi. Everything has been working just fine now. Even though the prior water pressure was set to 60 psi, this “new” flow is much stronger and improved. “Should have done it years ago!”

Pressure regulation works fine, however I cannot stop a leak where the inlet pipe connects to the union on the regulator. Tried teflon tape, pipe dope, pipe dope tape and nothing will stop the very slow leak. Last resort will be to eliminate the union piece and connect inlet pipe directly. The outlet side is leak-free connected in this manner.
