Limited delivery access.
If the pick up or drop off location has limited access for carriers and is not a part of the original quote, an adjustment may be applied. Limited access may include commercial businesses open to the walk-in public or where an employee is not available to assist with loading or unloading.
Residential fees.
This adjustment is typically applied when a shipment picks up or delivers to a residence or business not publically marked and not factored into the original shipment quote.
Make sure the business name is accurately listed on the bill of lading.

If the driver has to go out of their normal route area, cannot pull up to a loading dock and load or unload within 10-15 minutes, the location will be considered either Limited Access or Non-Commercial and additional fees will apply.
This typically means gated areas a driver must check into, commercial establishments not open to the walk-in public, or destinations where an employee is not available to assist with loading or unloading.
