It’s impossible to clearly look through the plastic lens on the face shield because of the milky looking surface that cannot be cleaned off. This is unacceptable and could cause an injury. I had to trash it and install a new replacement lens which is 100 clear. Buyer beware!!

WARNING DONT TRY AT HOME Personaly I cannot coment on its intended use, However I can coment on MY (stupid) use of it. You see I whant a full face mask with as much visibility as possible for airsoft. And this product provides said features im looking for and did the job on my testing, it dose leave hit marks tho hopefully thares replacement parts for this just in case but thats in the future for me to find out. 10/10 protection protects from harmful speeding 6mm plastic.

I was using my weed trimmer without any eye protection. I got a piece of weed in my eye and even though I got it out my eye got infected. The infection was cleared up with antibiotics and now I wear it when ever I need eye and face protection. I love it. It’s so comfortable, I forget I even have it on while I’m working.

I've had this face shield for six years. It provides great fit, comfort, and visibility. So I decided to get one for my daughter, but noticed that there were a fair number of one star reviews, which puzzled me because I have been so happy with mine. On reading these poor reviews and complaints, almost all of them have to do with poor visibility when looking through the shield. Apparently, these are people who didn't figure out that there is a semi-opaque protective film that needs to be peeled off before using the face shield!

I use these while doing wood turning at a lathe and when running a string trimmer over woodland trails. In both applications these have protected me from serious injury. I very recently had a quite heavy block of wood come off my lathe at high speed and strike the mask. I was not injured in the least, nor was the mask, but without it I could have had a very serious injury depending upon where it hit me. Over the years I have been using these the padding on the head strap may have worn out or a fastener lost, but I have never had one break or fail in any way in use. I've had five or six by now, but considering the amount of use they get, that seems fine to me. They don't cost a lot, but they can save a huge amount of money and misery.

One of the main reasons I bought this is because it was not supposed to fog up. Sure enough, it did fog up. I ended up using a cheap Covid plastic protector because there was more air flow so it did not fog up as much.

Being a mechanic/welder, I have used alot of clear hoods over the years. This one is lightweight, very good clear view, easy to put on and adjust. So far it has been the best hood I've owned.
