I bought these over a year ago and I am still using them. They are quality bands that last a long time. Great for working out as well as physical therapy. The little bag they come in is nice too.

Colorful bands! Don't recall if safety issues were brought up in customer reviews, and do have a concern about snapping! I wear eyeglasses while exercising as a precaution.

These do everything they should! My only problem is that wearing them over cloths causes them to roll in on themselves. I'm assuming fabric bands wouldn't do this but I haven't tried!

So versatile. I needed to work out my knee (after having ACL and meniscus surgery 3 months ago) when I went out of town for a week. I put those in my luggage and was able to work out in my hotel room. They were perfect.

My husband found the blue heavy Flexbar too hard to use with injuried arm. He is in excellent health and works out religiously but found the blue too hard to twist. Returned for green model which is better. Paying return shipping charged on blue bar really added to cost of green bar. Still not sure it was worth it.

I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and still do not see any improvement in my tennis elbow.

I bought this to help with my tennis elbow. Unfortunately, it seemed to on exasperate the issue. I stopped using it and my problem is slowly starting to mend. Not to say this is all due to the bar. It might be good for other exercises but it did not help with the issue I bought it for in the first place.

Some weeks ago I had a series of elbow surgeries. I purchased this item after reading it's description & feedback. It seemed ideal for rehabbing the elbow. What I received was a simple chunk of rubber. fashioned into a cylinder w/ridges running along the length. Presumably these ridges are for one's hands to grip while twisting & contorting the item.I noted immediately upon receipt that within ~ 1-2 inches of each end, these ridges were noticeably more worn than near the center of the item. Whether worn down due to manufacture, prior use due return from dissatisfied customer & repackaged I can't say.Regardless: merely a chunk of rubber w/worn & slippery grips, finally, the tension has diminished dramatically w/but severely uses.A false balance is an abomination to the LORD,2but a just weight is his delight. Either I didn't watch and read the demonstration properly or it wasn't clearly stated, but this green bar is way too difficult to use, especially on an arm that is experiencing weakness and pain due to 'tennis elbow'.....obviously, if it is supposed to be helpful, it would have to have a lot less resistance.

I developed tennis elbow after doing a big batch of exterior painting with a large brush. All that repetitive movement gave me what I thought was just sore muscles, but it didn't go away. After a month or so without improvement I did a little online research and found out that my problem was in fact tennis elbow. I'd never experienced it before. Based on many positive reports of success with the Thera-Band FlexBar exercise, I got a green FlexBar and carefully learned to do the exercise by watching the online videos. I did thousands of reps over about a four month period, with little improvement. DON'T tell me I must have been doing it wrong--I went back multiple times and watched that young woman doing it exactly like I had been. Finally I did more research and found another set of exercises not using the FlexBar, which cured my problem in about about two weeks. Update: shortly after my condition improved with the other exercise it flared up again. So next I took the advice of another website (I think it was WebMD) and tried to avoid exertion for awhile, including wearing an Aircast. Now after another month, I'm feeling the best yet! This after months of FlexBar use without as much improvement. There ARE other home treatment strategies recommended by other reputable authorities, besides the people claiming such astounding results for the FlexBar. The FlexBar may not work for you either.
