I got more than one year of wear before starting to show some loss of stitches on the back seam. Still usable as a back up. This suit was worn for about 200 one-hour workouts in chlorinated pools -- both indoor and out. I will be sticking with TYR Durafast in the future.

This swimsuit fits correct to size. The elastic on the waist legs are snug but not uncomfortable. The suit is well constructed and the material is of a proper thickness.

I appreciate the comfort, easy use, and stylish look of these jammers. I am a competitive swimmer and have been wearing these jammers my entire life. Many of my fellow teammates also wear the jammers for the pure greatness of each pair. These jammers have a leg up on practically all others I have worn, I have no complaints.

Affordable option for practice suit. Holds its color better than some cheaper options, does not stretch out. The seams do fade to an almost pinkish color, but it's not horrible. We have two of these for practice.

I've delayed reviewing these jammers as I was a little skeptical about their durability and longevity. It's been a little over a year since I started using these and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised.My swim routine is mild compared to avid swimmers (1/2 to 1 mile per week as part of my cardio day) and is done in a heavily chlorinated gym pool. I wash these shorts in the gym shower immediately after a swim and they hang dry in a mesh TYR swim bag in the garage. After a year there has been no noticeable fading, shallowing or pilling of material, and tie strings are still strong.I'm 5'11 180 with a 31 to 32 waist. I wear a 34 in these jammers comfortably. I did try before you buy with a 34 and 36 and sent the 36 back because they were too big.

My husband loves these he wear them under uncomfortable swim trunks with the mesh inserts.He cuts the inserts out and wears these instead.

I've read some reviews stating that these run small, but they seem to fit very well. Perhaps some reviewers are expecting a more loose fit, but as far as I know, jammers should fit snugly to provide aqua-dynamic movement through the water.

Suit fit as expected and has lasted for the duration of summer swim league. There has been a little scratching/pulling on the rear end despite my son being careful about not sitting on concrete in them

I've compared these with the Speedo equivalent and find the fit to be superior, especially in the way that the extra frontal interior layer is sewn at the bottom. The fabric has held up well in pool water with 4-5 miles of laps per week, showing no evidence of thinning or stretching. That's why I purchased this, a second pair.

This is the second Durafast Jammer we got for the kid. It fitted perfectly. the first one has been holding its shape after almost a year and 2 months.One thing we noticed was that the material was the same, but the jammer is a little.. thinner. Hoep it will lasts as long as the first one.

The product quality seems fine, but the proportions are different from my son's other jammers. The legs are really long and come down to his knees. For a 28 waist the legs seem too long (my son has a typical “slim” build).
