Mission: Trekking for kids organizes purpose-driven treks for socially-conscious hikers in some of the world's most remote locations. Tfk utilizes the trekkers thirst for adventure and the outdoors with their desire to help those less fortunate. Tfk focuses on the orphans and at-risk children who live in the shadows of the world's most coveted adventure destinations. The organization provides help to the orphanage and schools such as much needed repairs to the facilities, new buildings, furniture, livestock, education and even a grocery store. The projects are aimed at providing these orphanages and schools a boost towards internal sustainability. Each year TFK organizes treks to iconic, global locations, leaving behind tangible contributions to improve the lives of orphaned and at risk children living in the areas where the treks take place.
Results: TFK trekkers have raised and donated more than $1,000,000 to support projects to benefit thousands of children all over the world. Our impact has been seen in more than 20 countries.
