Fairly sturdy file, with tabs to organize yearly tax documents for self-filing or presentation to tax professional. I purchased two to file tax documents during the January to April overlap period.

Recently bought for my parents as they moved and can't locate the organizer that they have used for years. Love how sturdy it is made as well as the labels they provide you to use on the dividers. Makes it easier to organize paperwork when getting ready to file taxes.

I used to get an Income Tax Organizer each year with pockets for various receipts, great Headings, etc. They also had a place to write down what you had in that pocket. This just has divisions with no pockets, areas to write and total expenses, etc.

I have so much trouble rounding up stuff every year, W2, mortgage, banks, mutual funds, stocks, charities, state info, property tax. I got one at the end of last year and one to use for 2023. All through the year when I got stuff I put it in its place. This is the first year ever that I am not anxious about taxes. Maybe it's not for everyone but it sure helped me.

The product is poorly made and poorly designed. The tabs all align and therefore obscure each other. The previous iteration of this product was simple, elegant, and had staggered tabs which allowed all to be seen simultaneously. The reason for this change is obvious: they saved a few pennies by using tabs with the same location, therefore allowing value engineering (i.e. cheapening) of the product to predominate over utility. In addition, where the product was once uniform in color, this one is an unattractive hodgepodge with unattractive and unnecessary graphic which I would not ever use in my office. It also comes with unattractive pre-typed stick on tabs.
