Amplifys as described. hoped it was better than amplifier hearing aids,is about the same tho. the earphone jack is not good the slightest cord movement makes the earphones cut off.

I got these for my mom as a backup for her regular hearing aids while she was in the hospital. The hospital had this brand hearing assistant as well. Good quality and does the job.

Our dad is in a long term care facility where his hearing aids were a constant problem and worry. They got dropped, lost, knocked off charger. Finally one completely disappeared, apparently dropped in the bed and taken to laundry with sheets. Would've been nearly a thousand dollars to replace! He has profound hearing loss. We had to do something. In desperation we ordered this. He hears better with this than he did with hearing aids! We are so thrilled. It's so much easier to take care of and is always reliable and ready to go. People see it and understand right away that he is hearing impaired, this also helps. He simple turns the mic in their direction and he hears! Works for tv, church service, video chatting with family on Portal. Highly highly recommend. Truly life changing for us, and so much less stress than constant worry over expensive hearing aids that needed regular cleaning and charging.

My brother is deaf in right ear from injury, some hearing loss in other. This arrived today, we immediately took it to him and he hasn't taken it off. He responds much better to us and even smiles. I even tried it out and wow.

A rehab gave these to my MIL after someone stole her good one. Works decent and does what it is suppose to do. My complaint is that the clip is horrible! She has arthritis and cannot use the clip to attach to her clothes. We all have trouble because the clip spins and does not open to clip onto her sweater. She also broke both of the headphones that came with it in 3 months.

First- I have moderate hearing loss and have worn hearing aids for MANY years. And I have filed successful ADA complaint because employer failed to get me assisted listening devices per ADA Title II. Actually class action complaint!But as of last week, my hearing aids from Costco were being serviced. That really eliminated even 1:1 conversation. All I could do was use the speaker on my iPhone and headphones for iPad. No easy 1:1 talk with ANYONE. UGH.I thought I'd try these out for 1:1 conversation. Got them tonight.They work JUST FINE.So- if you need 1:1 conversation with someone- they work fine. I take out the battery when not using them. I used the ear plugs (not headset).They won't work in a noisier environment or with TV. If you have hearing loss, search for Hearing Loss Association of America for information. Ge5 hearing aides.Best hearing aides? Costco.These will make a decent difference IF YOU ARE IN A QUIET PLACE.ALSO if you are at the doctor's office or the pharmacy or and you can't hear what you need to hearTELL THEM. THEY NEED TO PROVIDE EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIVE ACCESS. Read up on 'effective communicative access' under the ADA. These are REQUIRED wherever you go. It is the laW in the USA.

I bought this for my sister. She has Parkinson's disease and recently had the brain surgery to implant a device that can be programmed to help with her symptoms. Deep Brain Stimulation. She has discovered that it is not a good idea for her to use your product. There is a small sheet with a warning about Electro Magnetic Interference. We are pretty sure that this is the problem. She is definitely not going to continue using your product, even though it is too late to send it back. That being said, the product itself seems to be a good one to aid in hearing better. Thank you.

Bought these for my 82 y.o. dad so he could feel included and also turn down the TV volume. He said he is hearing sounds that have been silent for years. They do send off a high pitched squeal occasionally when he is moving around, not sure why. So far it seems to be a good purchase and I would recommend to others who are resistant to regular hearing aids due to cost

Ordered this for myself. I sometimes cannot distinctly hear some programs speaking wise. Not yet ready for hearing aids. Bought these in hopes of betterment is this area---AND---they work well. Completely satisfied with them and would recommend them too others.

Our living room has a 17 foot ceiling. TV difficult to hear due to tinnitus, hearing loss, and poor room acoustic's. Downward facing TV speaker makes things worse, and sound-bar I purchased wasn't compatible.In my opinion SuperEar reaches full potential when placed directly underneath TV speaker with microphone tilted upward. Separately purchased a 15 foot audio extension cable and an inexpensive PChero 3.5mm headphone volume control.Absolutely amazing clarity now with no acoustic room echo. Even added a Y splitter with duplicate extension/volume controls so my spouse can enjoy too!Battery should also last longer since primary SuperEar volume control can be set to minimum. Additional PChero volume thumbwheel allows sound to be lowered as needed from seated position.

My dad has been hard of hearing all my life. We recently purchased one of these for him and HE CAN HEAR! I no longer have to yell when talking to him. All I have to do is speak in the device. He is in a nursing home and the staff there can communicate with him better than ever!!We did have to buy better headphones for him. It comes with two types but they wouldn't stay on well. Still we are VERY satisfied!
