How did I get along without these? If you ever work in an engine bay, you need these. I don't care what you are trying to do under the hood, inevitably there is always one bolt without a clear path. I had 3 bolts to remove a motor mount. In my case it was a radiator hose that got in the way. I could either drain the radiator and add 30 minutes to my work time or work around it. These did the job perfectly. I don't know about the people who say that they only got a little movement. I got at least 10 degrees of angle. If you really need it, you can add the small extension on the end to get even more articulation. With this set, you can go as deep into the engine bay as you need and still have your breaker bar outside where you can put some torque to it. No more bloody knuckles from trying to work inside the bay with 434; of clearance. I have broken U-joint sockets trying to do this kind of work. I think these have a lot more torque handling capability. Update I used these again to remove another engine mount. I can't overstate their usefulness. U-joints have their place, but try to drop a U-joint down into the bowels of your engine bay on the end of a 1534; extension and get it to line up with a bolt. It can be done, but it take four times as long because the U-joint always bends and then you have to pull it out again to straighten it and go after the bolt again. These wobble drive extensions have the perfect amount of flex, but they stay straight enough that you can line them up with bolts that you cannot reach by hand.
