A natural product, no preservatives added, no chemicals, and no calories. you have to learn to use the right amount, too much of it is not tasteful.

The green powder is very sweet ... only a dash will do!Best of all, it seems to be the real thing -- not adulterated with other artificial sweeteners that are present in packets sold in boxes at the usual retail outlets -- e.g. local supermarkets, Trader Joes, and Costco. We found using a recycled spice shaker is the most effective way to apply it to food dishes, etc. While it flavors hot or cold drinks, it doesn't dissolve -- clumps and leaves a residue on the bottom of a cup or glass. But we found a YouTube video on how to use the powder to make liquid Stevia. That works great!Overall, we're happy ... and healthier, too!

I have used it in my tea. I put it with the tea bag or other loose teas in the pan with water and bring to boil. Then I strain it into my thermos if there is loose leaf.I have used it with dried elderberries and tulsi tea power. I put it in my crock pot hot cereal. Only about 1/8 tsp. It is very sweet. Not sure how it is when it is not done this way. I suppose it could be put in boiling then added to a drink and chilled. Good taste, not bitter. No chemicals- I like it!

I've eaten a stevia leaf and this powder does not smell or taste like stevia at all. Very disappointed!! The green color was surprising but understandable since it's from a leaf. The taste reminded me of a matcha green tea. Don't get this product if you're looking for a sweetener, it isn't sweet at all.

Having it straight has a bit of a licorice taste, but I make 2 blends out of it.If you cut it with erythritol 1 cup erythritol to 1/2 teaspoon stevia or so and throw it in a coffee grinder or blender it cuts the erythritol aftertaste and the stevia aftertaste. Some use a blend of erythritol and xylitol and stevia and comes out good from what my neighbor said. This does not dissolve well in liquids as is but once you refine it a little bit more it will dissolve better.

This is the plain, powdered natural stevia leaf. It only takes a little for sweetener, but my family uses it a lot for its diabetic friendly properties.

It doesn't have the after taste that the white stuff has and I like to mix 1 TWith 1/3 c erythritol 1/4 c maple syrup to replace 1 c white sugar in recipies

The best stevia to buy is RAW, all others have some kind of chemical in them. Stevia is natural. Stevia powder is a bit hard to dissolve but little tricks like mixing with water to made a liquid sweetener works just fine.

Kind of confusing to rate the thickness, because the stevia leafs are ground to flour-like texture. I use a teaspoon of this in my daily smoothies, and it makes my smoothies taste pleasant. . . and my smoothies consist of kale/beets/carrots/cucumber/apple/tumeric powder/probiotic powder/green leafy powder/omega5 oil!!!!! No joke :)

the reason i gave a 4 and not a 5 is because i have only ever used the white processed version and this is the first time leaf powder and do not have a basis for comparison but i am pleased.

This is something you do not get with any other producer, witch it is usually replaced with a small amount of dextrose- another name for plain sugar. This is usually the whole reason you are buying stevia in the first place!whatch out... read the labels!

I am a loyal customer of Starwest Botanicals but one batch of this product over a year ago seemed to have been sourced differently and it was a big step down. I mentioned it to the seller and they gave me a full refund, which I hadn't asked for but appreciated. I kept the bag in the back of the pantry for when I ran out of Organic Traditions stevia powder. The refunded “backup” bag lasted 15 months.I decided to try again. Now the flavor and sweetness are very enjoyable, much like before, so I'm very pleased.
