I was looking for something I could spread under my yoga mat when I do a routine outdoors . This oversized mat worked out well. It's not thick, but offered protection from the damp ground, folded up very easily, and was light weight. I can't speak to durability yet.Being woven plastic, it should be easy to hose down, I think, and should dry quickly when the time comes. Also I really like the self carry aspect. No need for a separate tote.
