No need to change anything about this USA-made product. i have used this and the 25' and 30' versions for decades with no complaints. Works great for big jobs and when it finally gets kinked and worn out from jobsite grit and heavy use, it won't break the bank to replace it with another. I have used lots of other tapes and the nice thing about the Stanley product is the blade coating and the familiarity both of which make it easy to read and make calculations on the go. Also, the chrome finish slides easily into and out of the tool bags without getting hung up on ruggedized rubber coating like on other tapes (making it much more likely to fumble and drop one of those ruggedized models in the daily grind of life on the job).

We always go to Stanley for tape measures. The Power Lock is easy to use, easy to read and holds up to the abuse of construction and home projects.

I had to these Stanley tape rules for over 25 years very well-made. Kind of an old school style as compared to plastic ones. Only downside is they are a little heavy. But the quality of how it's made it's amazing and that Stanley still does that.
