The horseshoes and rod are very sturdy feeling and well made. The only reason I took off a star was that the paint chips very easily (which is to be expected, I suppose), and the carrying case is flimsy and very difficult to close or keep closed. There are a few tiny little plastic holding it closed being pushed around by a bunch of heavy metal parts. Other than that I'd highly recommend these. I'm glad I got them.

Poles and shoes looks good but the case is as cheap as can be. Poor quality plastic. Seems to work now but I don't know how it'll hold up long term.

Great set of horseshoes. Only thing I've noticed after one use, is the poles are a little rusty and the paint chips easily. We played at the beach, so salt water may have caused the rust.
