I spend about 50 nights a year in a tent, and after my old Cabela's Truck Tent (no longer made) wore out I researched and bought the similar Napier tent. After one season I can give it a fair rating. PRO - with three doors (two regular and one for the SUV) and one window it has great access and ventilation. The roof has one full panel and one half panel of screened material, making it good for summer but not as warm in winter. Two of the doors have rainfly shades that can be staked out, but the tent only comes with one set of poles and guylines. Quite roomy with nearly vertical walls, and I've managed to seat 6 people inside for short social visits. The carrying bag has an expansion zipper that makes repacking MUCH easier. Easy to set up, but you need to attach the rainfly before raising the poles if doing it solo. CON - the door zippers tend to snag on the zipper covers, and I've had one jam so badly that it is now unusable - lucky there's another identical door! Wall material is rather thin, and the rainfly has faded noticeably in one sunny season, but everything is holding up other than the one door zipper. To cover the outside of the truck door you must leave the heavy tube and straps zipped over it, which can be noisy in the wind if no vehicle is attached. All the other three windows are covered by the rainfly, so no water can collect at the bottom of the screen. The 4 main poles have the spikes at the bottom (!!), which is fine if setting up on dirt, but hard on ground tarps or if setting up on wood decks or stone.

Set this up easily and it fit my 2003 RAV4. Very well designed with nice touches. Great quality. Can be used as just a tent.

I absolutely love this tent! I was looking for something that would be easy to transport and set up. This was perfect for my trip! I was able to set it up myself, I'm a 36 yr old female. It did sprinkle a bit one night but I had the rain fly on and had no issues. I have a Ford Escape and it was quite easy to get set up and having the extra room in the tent was so nice. I can't wait until my next trip. I did do a practice set up before my trip which took me about 30 min but then I had everything up in less than 10 minutes on site.

We set the tent up for the 1st time today (4/9/17) on a sunny windy day in Indiana. This tent is not stable in the wind. It was all two of us could do to get it up. Thinking that the rain fly would help stabilize the tent my wife and I attempted to install the fly. In the process of installing the fly the material tore loss near one of the clips at the floor. The tent was unusable stand-alone without the fly. We are disappointed as this was to be our tent for a long summer vacation. I'm glad we tried it in the backyard instead of getting stranded without a usable tent away from home. Now to restart the process or finding the right tent again. Arggg. The positives about this tent are that the poles seem to be well constructed, it is airy with all the windows open, and the floor seems to be well constructed. The negatives: questionable quality of the fabric, not stable in wind, takes longer to assemble that I would prefer (it took about an hour for us to get to the point of tearing the rain fly).

Took this tent camping to the Davy Crockett National Forest. Set up was easy, but we have been tent camping for many years. The tent was easy to attach to the back of the CRV. Look forward to many more camping trips with this tent.

We have a 2015 Ford F-150 with Topper and 6 1/2 foot bed. This was our home on the road for 2 1/2 months. Attaches just fine to our carrying racks on the topper, on the sides in the wheel well, and we open the tailgate and topper window no problem inside the tent. The only downfall (literally fall) was you need to step over the bottom piece to get outside. A necessity because this keeps the water out. It does not leak if you seal the seams around the area that attaches to the truck. We had a full bed mattress in the bed of our truck, a tarp over that, and all our gear we needed on top of the tarp. When we arrived at our campsite, we hooked up the tent, and everything we needed we pulled out of the bed, instant living room and bedroom!! Bring extra rope, as many of the campgrounds had asphalt and we couldn't secure it on windy days. If it wasn't too windy we just tie downed the fly and that kept the tent in place.

Very convenient, easy set up and looks great. It fit well with our Chevy Tahoe. Camped in cool rainy weather, the tent kept us warn and dry.!! No leaks!!!
