Excellent adhesive properties. Used about a four inch double strip of the tape (sticky side to sticky side) to electrically isolate and insulate a heavy amplifier's potentially hot output transistors from the unit's metal-framed cooling fan.

88 is thicker than 33. I apply Rescue Tape directly to the connector(s), then a layer of 88 to protect it from UV. The great thing about Rescue Tape is that it makes it VERY easy to remove.

Cheap electrical tape unwinds and oozes goo over time. This is not that. I tried it after being frustrated with other brands, and I won't go back.

Ive used a lot of e tape, especially cheap e tape. I assumed it was all the same, so my bulk packs from harbor freight were good enough. For some reason this popped up and I said what the heck why not? Bad idea. Its so good. Its so much more pliable, can corner without buckling, I dont know if I can go back to the cheap stuff knowing this exists.

If you are frustrated with electrical tape that does not stay stuck, you should purchase the 3M product instead. This is the only brand I use - super strong, sticks well and is thicker than most brands.
