My neighbors and I (5 of us on the block) went in together on this a few years ago after having lots of problems with mail theft and tampering. It's out on the street in a prominent location, under cameras. And we've never had any more theft or any problems with it. The installation is a bit of a project (took a few hours to pour the pad, get it all bolted down, etc.), but once it's done it's done. We wipe it down occasionally so it stays bright and clean and new looking. It's very secure and easy to use, both for our postmaster and for us as customers.
