I received the g4007 version of this tool for Christmas. I use it for small hobbies and small models and, it goes through metal and other material like butter.

Got the rotary tool with flex shaft and different attachments and carrying case on Black Friday deal. It is a plug in but is very powerful and I can attach the flex shaft and leave the tool plugged in on my desk and not have to worry about my battery dying and having to recharge to continue. I use it in my wire wrapped jewelry mainly getting nicks out of finished jewelry and polishing. I would recommend. It is a great tool for the price I paid.

You can spend much more on another brand but this item works great, has enough power to get the job done, and is a great value. It was well packaged in a quality carry case with good instructions. I'm very satisfied with this item.

Well built with a solid case, speed control is easy to adjust but be aware that its slowest setting is much faster than a Dremel which I also own. It comes with a number of useful accessories

I make tumblers and have always used sandpaper or an xacto knife to clean and smooth the rim of the tumbler, but it was time to invest in a rotary tool! I was super excited to get this on sale because I've been eyeing it for some time.The tool is easy to use and setup, it comes with very clear instructions, and I appreciate the dust cover so I don't always have to wear my facemask while working with it on small, fast projects.I also used it to drill a hole for keychains and it worked like a charm. Def recommend!
