so i read a few reviews on this costume fitting like a sack of potatoes on you. fyi, i usually wear a size medium. I'm 5'5" 130lbs... and the XS fits perfect. I was worried about getting an XS, i havent worn XS in yrs. Glad i did my research first!

I read previous reviews and it's true - this costume runs big. I've never worn XS in my life and I'm an Aussie size 10/12, the equivalent of M. It was still fairly loose particularly round the waist. However, the quality is great and even without adjustments, it won me the 'Best Dressed' award so can't complain. Did I mention the shipping was awesome?! Super fast for international deliveries.

I bought it for my girlfriend so we could be geeks together. I thought it would fit like the picture, form fitting, but it looks like a sack over her shoulders. My girlfriend is small (5' - 106lbs) and i got the smallest. We are having it sewed smaller and more to her body. I would not buy it if your looking for a sexy star trek dress. There are better ones out there.

I buy and wear a lot of costumes and this is probably better than most but not great ... it's a little overpriced for what it is but as it is official Star Trek merchandise, it's fair at this price ... needless to say, it is Star Trek so I'm bound to get several wears out of this outfit ... good for Halloween, Star Trek conventions and other sci-fi events ... the sizing is terrible though, but rather than complain about how it's not right, I'll just tell you what I got: I bought a medium size dress and its measurements are roughtly 40-36-42 ... as a result, it fits like a burlap sack ... I usually wear a womens' size 8 ... but I decided not to return as it isn't going to be too hard to take it in and get a more "custom" fit ... I recommend that you email the costume site before you buy and actually get the measurements of the product (or better yet, it would be useful if the website just measured the costume and posted the measurements of each size) ... the costume's fabric is quite pretty - it has lots of tiny little Star Trek emblems in it ... overall, I was happy with my purchase ...

Wife and I love this dress. Absolutely stunning. Good quality fabric - light and airy - good things for the party, but will not keep you warm for Halloween trick-or-treating (then again if you expected a short skirt to keep you warm, you're nuts :P ) Fit comfortably and well and looks like the real thing. Be aware that this costume rides upa bit, so a regular "Picard Maneuver" will be required at the hem throughout the night (unless mooning someone is your goal of course). Would absolutely buy again and recommend this product to others.

I read the reviews and bought an extra small. PERFECT! I was really happy. I wore black leggings and my own black boots. It was a great sexy, fun costume. Too bad my non sci fi friends thought I was a Jetson. Oh, well. :)
