The thermostat/control valve arrived in less than 24 hours. It was a near perfect direct replacement, it required only slight bending of the flexible lines for the gas, the pilot, and the flame sensing thermocouple. It was very easy to install, with only a couple of wrenches, a couple of pairs of Channel Lock pliers, a nut driver, and some teflon tape. Once installed, it took just a couple of minutes to purge the air, the pilot lit, it stayed lit, and as soon as I turned the dial to Hot and turned the water inlet on, it began working like a charm. We had hot water in less than 24 hours, and for less than $150! You can't beat that.
