We love this soft close mixer lift! We did have to modify a cabinet (which is why there is no door currently). The instruction video made installation really easy. We cut 1.5 butcher block and stained to match our counters. The mixer stays plugged in by a smart outlet. We did need to go up to level 3 on the tension spring, super simple to change. The clip for the soft close was a little tricky (you need to install all 4, but the video shows only 2).Overall, we love it!

My elderly client had a TV cabinet with a shelf inside of it that was very difficult for them to access. After looking around, I found this product and was surprised how easy it was to install. I didn't use the instructions, I simply eyeballed where I wanted the hardware to go and the depth of the shelf and just began trial and error. Took a few tries, but eventually got it at the height I wanted it. Now this elderly couple can access their shelf without bending down to reach for things.

We've purchased a number of Rev-a-shelf items. The options get a little confusing but this is a nice piece. You need to provide your own shelf for the mixer. We have ours in a 15 cabinet. I'd probably recommend an 18 but the 15 works, it's just tight and a small shelf space. Lifting requires you to bend down to reach under and release tabs. It would be better if there could be a top release. Once up and locked in it's fine, and when released again it floats back into the cabinet very nicely.

Wanted this for my Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is too heavy to move a lot, so when I remodeled my kitchen I had them install a new cabinet specifically to store my mixer. This mechanism allows a shelf to be attached that holds the mixer and lets me pull it up for use, locks the shelf in place while I use it, and with a pull of the handle, slowly lowers it back into place inside the cupboard! Love it more than I can say!

We have used these lifts for Kitchen Aid mixers in our last 3 houses. The wife does not like her counters cluttered so the mixers go inside a cabinet. The mixer weighs about 25 pounds so moving it is no fun. With the lift you simply open the cupboard door and pull the mixer up and the spring assist does most of the work. When you're done it easily slides back into the cabinet with no effort due to the soft close mechanism. Highly recommended!

    Not the easiest thing to install but it does exactly what it's made for. Once installed it swings my mixer up out of the cabinet, and then swings it away once I'm done. It wobbles a bit if you use the mixer on the shelf, but it's designed to assist in lifting not for using the mixer in place. It's very easy to use. The biggest drawback is that it basically takes up the entire cabinet for one appliance. In the old cabinet I could store other items on the other shelf. With this installed I only have about 4” underneath.So if you have cabinet space to spare, and hate lugging your mixer up and and down, then I highly recommend this product.

    Great product - easy to install and works exactly as described and costs less than big box stores. If you have a Kitchen-Aid mixer, this is the best addition to your kitchen!

    I love this shelf; am so glad I bought the soft-close for the extra money. It is a bit pricey, but seems well worth it. Installation directions were a bit difficult; read carefully and maybe reread.
