Love this lock! I have ease of mind knowing my camper is safe and secure when I am away. Easy to use and the bright safety color is great as a notice to anyone that theft isn't easily possible.

I had three different trailer locks, mainly because I bought them over the span of a few years and I was just buying whatever was on the shelf of my local parts store. I don't know if I'm just hard on them or what, but this is the only one I've ever had that lasted more than 5 years without breaking or falling apart. The first one I bought is now 7 years old, and all I've had to do with it in that time is give it a shot of WD40 once a year or so and it still works like new. So once the other two crapped out I knew what I was looking for, and found it here.The only reason I'm rating it 4 stars is because it isn't quite wide enough to fit the hitch on my 12k trailer. It has a 2-5/16 ball (that this is still advertised to fit), but the flange on the hitch is like 1/2 wider; more than I'd feel good about grinding down off the hitch for sure. However I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, because despite this, because of the way it's offset I can install it backwards and it's still plenty secure enough to get the job done.
