I wanted this gorgeous sterling silver ornament when first I saw it, but the price was just too much. After waiting for a year and a half, the price went down - and now, I have it! It is just beautiful, a perfect quatrefoil, with lovely designs on the four arms and another Gothic/Renaissance quatrefoil in the center. The back is flat and engraved, and the front is edged in gold. The hanger is silver with a gold 50 tag, to mark the Reed Barton 50th Edition Christmas ornament. For me, it represents my favorite cities : Florence, with its Gates of Paradise Baptistry doors, and Venice's Ca d'Oro and Doge's Palace. This ornament sits, not on my Christmas tree, but on my desk, so that I can see and admire it daily. This is the best gift that I have ever given myself!

I am returning this item as I thought it was the 2021 edition when in fact it was 2020 which I already have.

This is a really pretty ornament which I am unsure if it's worth the price. It's smaller and lighter weight than I expected, almost felt like aluminum it was so lightweight. I was expecting an extremely sturdy and heavy ornament for the price. It does reflect light very nicely and looks beautiful on my tree. I understand that the price is so high because it's made of silver but it does seem excessive. It comes with a red velvet box and red bag which I will keep to store the ornament in after Christmas each year. It's a fantastic addition to your collection if it's affordable for you.

This is a beautiful ornament, it is silver and it is lightweight. The description says .35lb, this ornament is not that weight and is hollow. This would be a lovely tradition to pass down through the years. It comes in a giftable box and has a velvet pouch.
