This was a great deal in this two for one. I use each tape measure for a different purpose. The retracting one is great to use for measuring benches, tables, counters, etc. It fits in the pocket easily and isn't big and bulky. The normal sewing tape measure is perfect for measuring things for sizing, sewing, and dimensional things that are rounded. Perfect pairing.

They are small and compact to pack up nicely with my other weight stuff. I find them more accurate then others I have gotten in the past. The colors are nice and stand out so I can easily find them.

I was hoping the measuring tape was defective but nooooo. Not my luck. Its rude and says exactly how thick my ham hocks have gotten. I dinged 1 star because it could have lied to me to make me feel a tad better. If you want to feel sad but really do want accurate measurements. This is brutally honest.

The retractable tape comes in a plastic case with non-functioning cheap button, presumably meant to be pressed to retract the tape. But the only way to get the tape back in is to finesse/feed it back in slowly. I think it will work better if I break open and discard the black case and just use the black one as tape too.The pink one is standard tailor's measuring tape, no complaints.

Especially loved the black retractable measuring tape. Made it much easier for me to take measurements for my clothes, and overall both really came in handy.
