Pondmaster Pond-Mag 7 Pumps are specifically designed to meet the demands of a pond. Unlike other pumps, mag pumps are made to run continuously, without seals to wear out. Magnetic drive Pondmaster pond pumps are highly energy efficient using less energy than direct driven pumps, and they will potentially save hundreds of dollars over time. Filled with epoxy, rather than oil, these mag pumps cannot leak oil into the pond, which can be harmful or fatal to fish and plants.
Pondmaster's pond pumps are low-maintenance with only one moving part, a ceramic shaft and impeller. added this pump to the pond with a skimmer filter. Not so impressed. It "says" its 700gpm but the smaller 500 pump I got at homedepot out performed this on by miles.It might make better for a small filter.It should be rated 300-400gpm by its performance

The pump seems solidly made...I've had it going for about a month now. Everything was as advertised...it did come with an external strainer cage rather than a pre-filter sponge. Would have liked about 2 more feet on the cord...but... at 18'...it's good enough. One complaint...even with the strainer cage, the impeller casing does get a bit gummed up with debris...but, it's easily scraped out with out removing the housing.

this has only been running a month, but I certainly have no complaints. It is in an underground tub, and is pretty much inaudible. I think the only reason you can hear even as slight hum is that the tub it runs in is metal. very good loft on the water, I didn't need a reducer to get my desired height

Good durable pump. Works well if you have a sufficiently large filter so that you dont have to clean the filter frequently.

It took three weeks to receive this pump, by the time it was received it was only used for 5 days. I can't give a review on the item, but if you need one fast don't order from these people. Shipping time is ridiculous!!

Does what it's supposed to do. This is my third mag pump. I've been working my way up throught the years. My first was 250, then a 500. This is a 700 gph.(They all still work fine.) I use it with a their matching 1 sq, foot filter. You must use an add on filter or it will be constantly clogging. The 700 is perfect for the Bell Type Fountain.
