I had two different pumps in the last seven years of me having a koi pond. I liked this one because of it being efficient with the power and price was good. The only thing I recommend is to clean the area of the bottom of the pond where its going. This is a good strong pump but there is ten screws you have to remove to clean it out which is a pain at first.
