Love the idea of the box. It is sturdy and being able to connect two boxes is great for portability of multiple boxes.The one short-coming is that the compartment dividers don't make a good seal with the lid. As such, small, flat items (hooks, coins, washers, etc), can move across sections. That is a minor bummer. It would be nice if they could revise the product to address this.

I've had some of these (medium and large) for around 30 years and they're still my favorites. They don't have a real large interior height but the way you can adjust the compartments is pure genius. Just make sure you're using the proper divider in the correct part of the box. I've used them mainly for fishing tackle, small parts/hardware, Dremel/rotary tool bits like diamond points/drums/discs, cutoff discs, sanding drums, polishing buffs, chucks, collets, etc., etc., etc.... I broke one latch once but had a spare and just snapped it on. Very durable (30 years and like new). If you want something with the most versatile compartment configurations these are them. And don't forget they connect back to back (bottom to bottom). This is an unsolicited review and I haven't received anything in compensation. I just feel a product this good (as with every Plano product I've owned) deserved a little love after all the utility it has provided me over the decades. Thanks Plano!
