I used it when I rebuilt my 350-engine on my '90 Chevy K2500 to be sure some fittings that were hard to get to wouldn't leak later. Years later and they haven't started leaking yet especially the water pump, power steering pump and master cylinder. I also have used it several times on my snow thrower on the gear case where the drive shaft meshes with the auger shaft and it's not leaking either. A small tube went a long ways and years later I still have some left and I used it on the plug for the oil in my car a few weeks ago.

This isn't a review, rather a warning to be aware of what the product CANNOT do.I was changing the front main seal, and couldn't find Locktite 545 locally, which was the recommended sealer. Both a local NAPA and O'Reilly's thought this would do the trick, as it says it's resistant to fluids.The VERY last line reads: ... not for use on plastic or rubber... and the front main seal is rubber.I just had to stop and wait for the proper sealer to arrive.Always read ALL the directions!

Heck if I can remember what the thing was, but it did that.Easy to apply, not too expensive, and apparently just the thing for very specific sealing situations.Now the remainder will sit on my shelf for the rest of eternity (or until I throw it out in a pique of passionate cleaning).
