Then I bought some aftermarket clips and have a perfectly functioning door gasket again... not a dangler that does not seal anymore!

A saw a web page that said this worked for patching the rips in the weatherstripping on the car doors. It has done great for fixing them on our Subaru. Saved a ton vs buying all new door seals. I also bought some of the plastic clips the weatherstripping on, as a few were broken too.

Product would not come out. Dried in can. Tried until nozzel snapped off. WORTHLESS AND A WASTE OF $25.

I had a problem with this can, apparently the valve was defective. I used it once and the next time, it all came out of the can. I contacted Permatex through their website and told them what happened. The next day a customer service rep contacted me and offered to send me a new can plus a high temperature version to try. I am totally happy with how this was resolved.

I don't know if these is truly as good as advertised. The product still seemed to be tacky and soft up to 12 hours. I let product cure for 24 hours before use and there have been no problems.

It does what is supposed to and more. Read instructions please. A little messy? Like any other gasket or sealer , no big deal. If this is too much for you pay somebody to do it. I have used this bottle 3 times and going strong.
