PIR Proximity Motion Sensor for LED Light Strips 6-24 VDC 5A with Built-In Timer and Night Sensor
This motion sensor is the perfect time and energy saver when using LED lights. Hook it up inline between your 6 to 24 VDC power supply and the LED light controller to automatically turn lights on when you walk into a dim or dark room. This eliminates the need for a light switch and possible an AC outlet if you run the lights on batteries. Set the timer to turn off the lights up to 7 minutes after you leave the room saving power if you forget to turn them off.
If the room is well lit the motion sensor doesn't trigger the lights to come on, saving electricity when the lights aren't needed. For counter areas that need light, mount the motion sensor under the back corner of the cabinet behind the LED strip. The motion sensor handles up to 5A which equals 60W of current at 12 VDC. Use this motion sensor to turn on other devices besides lights that use 6 to 24 VDC and draw less than 5A. The motion sensor has up to 10 ft. range from the center of the dome. Make sure to mount the sensor in a dim or dark area. If you need to cut a connector off make sure you observe the polarity markings.
